Clara Lara and Greenan Farm Museum and Maze are approximately ten minutes in either direction from Glenmalure Pines. The fantastic beaches of Brittas bay are just twenty minutes away and Bray with Sea World and other attractions is thirty minutes. The cabin has satellite television with kids' channels for those early mornings and a small DVD library.

There is also Diamond Bowl and Kidzone newly opened in Wicklow Town and a new 9 screen Gaiety Cinema in Arklow, at the Bridgewater shopping centre.

Clara Lara is open daily from the start of May to the start of September each year from 10.30am - 6pm.  Greenan Farm Museum and Maze is open daily in July and August, Tuesday to Sunday in May and June and Sundays only in September and October from 10am - 6pm.
